Ingredients
  • 250 grams Boneless Chicken 
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Paste
  • 1½ tsp of 5 Spice Powder (Ground Cinnamon, Ground Cloves, toasted and ground Fennel Seeds, Ground Star Anise and toasted and Ground Szechuan Peppercorns)
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 large Onion, chopped 
  • 1 Capsicum, diced
  • 1 cup Chicken Stock
  • ½ tsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Dark Soya Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Cornflour dissolved in ¼ cup of water
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
  • For garnish: Fresh Basil and Coriander, chopped
Preparations
  • Mix all ingredients (except onion, capsicum and cornflour) together and marinate for 15 minutes in a bowl.
  • Cook the chicken with all ingredients in the USHA Electric Pressure Cooker for 12 minutes and release the steam.
  • Stir in onions, capsicum and dissolved cornflour and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring gently.
  • Serve on a bed of fried rice, garnished with basil and coriander.
Cooking Tip

You can also use other vegetables like broccoli and baby corn.
