Ingredients
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/2 cup Mawana Select Caster Sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1½ cup grated cucumber
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup semolina

Garnish

  • Mawana Select Icing Sugar
  • Mint leaves
Preparations
  • In a mixing bowl beat eggs using the Usha Hand Mixer. Add oil, Mawana Select Caster Sugar and blend them together.
  • Add vanilla extract, lemon juice, grated cucumber and mix well. Sieve flour, baking soda, baking powder into the mixture. Add semolina and fold.
  • Transfer the contents into a cake tin lined with baking paper and bake using the Usha OTG at 180˚ for 30 minutes.
  • Garnish with Mawana Select Icing Sugar and mint leaves.
